One woman’s dedication to water safety is making waves at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Thurmond Lake. Sandie Craig founded a non-profit organization “Rembering Scotty Craig” in honor of her late husband, who drowned three years ago at Thurmond Lake. She has since committed her life to raising awareness of the benefits of life jackets and urging people to wear them.
