Free Fishing Day!

What are your plans this weekend? Whatever they are, you should add fishing to the list!
On Saturday, June 2, anyone can fish in Georgia public waters – no license required. Families, kids, grandparents are welcome to come try out the art of angling without having to worry about a license. You can also fish next Saturday, June 9, for free as well.
Both days are promotional events by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources to draw attention to National Fishing and Boating Week June 2-10. The goal of this week is to bring families together for recreational activities outdoors. Many children’s events will be scheduled across the state to teach kids about fishing. If you’re interested in any of these classes, find out where they are offered locally here.
Sounds like a lot of fun, right? We’ll see you out on the water!
