Evans is a Favorite for Young Families

Evans has been chosen as the best town in Georgia for young families by NerdWallet.com, with Martinez coming in eighth on the list.

NerdWallet, a useful website with information to help families save money across the board, released a list of the Best Towns in Georgia last week. Ranking in the top position, Evans was chosen because of its inexpensive housing, good schools, and high growth rate over the last ten years compared with other towns in the state. They also cite Augusta’s steady economy due to its strong healthcare industry.

Also representing Augusta, Martinez came in at number eight on the list. The site mentioned its vast opportunities for bike trails, the canal, and other outdoor entertainment and exercise opportunities.
