As the summer comes to a close, business continues to be good at DeFoor Realty. We’re busy and grateful for it. Taking a look nationally at housing, economists say that the market has finally gotten the message that prices can’t continue to grow as fast as they have been. For the time being, prices are not declining, but price-growth is decelerating. With the market being strong, if you’re thinking of selling, now is a great time. We need more listings, especially lake houses. We would love the opportunity to work with you.
As the holiday decorations start to fill the shelves at the stores, we too are getting ready for fall. We have already registered to help with The Golden Harvest Food Banks, It’s Spooky to Be Hungry Campaign and are excited to help feed those in need in our community. We will be at The Oliver Hardy Festival in October again and will be selling DeFoor Realty lake shirts with the proceeds going to Spooky. We hope to see you there. It’s Saturday October 6th. Here’s a link to more information on the event.
We need reviews on Twitter. If you have worked with us before, please follow this link and review us. We will be giving away a $50 Target gift card and a DeFoor Realty shirt and hat or visor to a lucky reviewer. We’ll be running this through the end of September, so don’t delay.
Lloyd has been globe trotting again, this time on a mission trip to Lebanon with Susan. They were able to help hundreds of people at the clinic they had and were able to talk to people about the Lord. They also heard a lot of sad stories of families being separated because of the war. It really makes you appreciate what a great country we live in. While he was out, John, Jeff, Teresa, Kim. Christie and Rich did a great job keeping a handle on things at the office. We hope things on the home front continue to stay positive.
Until next time,
Lloyd DeFoor and team
