A Hot Real Estate Market and A Huge Spooky Fundraiser Success

DeFoor Realty closed out October with a bang. We had out first “It’s Spooky to Be Hungry” Halloween Bash and Fundraiser. We had a great turnout. We played lots of games with the kids, handed out candy, gave away food, and collected canned goods and money to help feed the hungry in our area. Thank you to all of you who came out and helped support us. With everyone’s help, we raised $450 that night and collected 363 pounds of food! We have exceeded our goal of $1,000 raised and are closer to $3,000! We’re not sure yet if we won the small business category for the most raised. Either way, we’re super pleased with how everything went and had so much fun! A huge thank you to Whitaker Electric for their support and providing all the hamburgers, hotdogs and fixings. Also, thank you to Sinless Sweets for sponsoring the cake walk. As for the housing market. Things are still hot on that front. Everything is up year over year. The number from September show… – Pending sales were up 25% – Closed sales were up 26% – Inventory levels shrank 39% – Median sales price increased 15% – Average sales price increased 18% – Days on the market decreased to 47 If you’re looking to sell, now is the time. We’d love to help you get your home sold fast. We’ve got a few subdivisions that are underway and moving fast.
